He has single mindedly devoted over 55 years of his life to the research and practice of Traditional Japanese Medicine. This involved continuous study of classical texts including the So Mon (素問) Su Wen, Rei Sū (霊枢) Ling Shu , Nan Gyō (難経) Nan Jing, Shō Kan Ron (傷寒論) Shang Han Lun and the Kin Ki Yō Ryaku (金匱要略) Jing Gui Yao Lue.
